At Drive Dreams, we strive to provide a smooth and transparent self-drive car rental experience. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a booking.
1. Booking Cancellation & Refund.
- • If a booking is cancelled 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time, the booking amount will be refunded after deduction of applicable cancellation charges, if any.
- • If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the pickup time, no refund shall be applicable.
- • In case of no-show (customer does not arrive to pick up the vehicle), no refund will be issued.
2. Security Deposit Refund
- • The security deposit is fully refundable, subject to vehicle inspection.
- • Refund will be processed within 72 hours of vehicle return, after adjustment of:
- • Damages or repairs
- • Excess kilometer charges
- • Fuel shortage
- • Traffic challans or penalties
- • Toll, FASTag, parking charges
- • Cleaning or washing charges
- • Refunds will be made via the original mode of payment or bank transfer.
3. Early Return of Vehicle.
- •If the vehicle is returned before the agreed rental period, no refund will be provided for unused days or hours.
4. Extension & Non-Payment.
- • Rental extensions must be approved in advance and paid before extension.
- • Failure to pay extension charges may result in vehicle immobilization or repossession, and no refund shall be applicable.
5. Cancellation by Drive Dreams.
- •In rare cases where Drive Dreams cancels a booking due to vehicle unavailability or unavoidable circumstances, the booking amount paid will be fully refunded.
- • Drive Dreams shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
6. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- • Booking convenience fees
- • Government taxes (if applicable)
- • Cleaning or damage charges
- • Traffic fines or legal penalties
7. Mode & Timeline of Refund.
- • Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 3–7 working days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
- • Drive Dreams is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment service providers.
8. Disputes & Jurisdiction
- • Any dispute related to refunds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Chandigarh, India.
